First: Determine according to the toxic and hazardous chemicals at the work site:

When there is chloride, fluoride, sulfuric acid or oxalic acid at a concentration of more than 50%, you can only choose a dip-coated ABS eye wash or a specially treated high-performance stainless steel eye wash. Because the eye washer made of stainless steel 304 material can resist the corrosion of acids, alkalis, salts and oils in general, but it can not resist the corrosion of chloride, fluoride, sulfuric acid or oxalic acid with concentration above 50%. Second: According to the local ambient temperature to decide:

1. Ambient temperature T: T>5°C and T<38°C: choose ordinary eye washer
2. Ambient temperature T:T>-5°C and T<38°C:Select antifreeze eyewash-ground automatic emptying antifreeze eye washer
3. Ambient temperature T:T>-10°C and T<38°C: Select antifreeze eyewash-embedded automatic emptying antifreeze eye washer or ADV antifreeze eye washer
4. Ambient temperature T: T<-10°C: Select electric heat eye washer or electric heating eye wash
5. Ambient temperature T: T>45°C: Select heat-proof eye washer
6. Ambient temperature T: T>-10°C and T>45°C: Select antifreeze and heat-proof eye wash eye washer

Third: Decide according to whether there is water in the workplace:

1. Fixed water source on site: fixed eye washer
2. No fixed water source on site: portable eye wash
