How to choose the right eyewash product

  As an emergency ambulance safety protection device, eyewash is widely used in various factories in China. However, there are many types of eyewash products. When customers buy eyewashers, they see a lot of eyewash products. They don’t know how to choose which style of eyewash products to use in their work environment.

When customers purchase eyewashes, they first come into contact with the types of eyewash products. China Eyewasher Network classifies emergency spray eyewashers according to different conditions, forming different types of products, for selecting emergency spray eye washers. Good help when

First: Determine according to the toxic and hazardous chemicals at the work site:

When there is chloride, fluoride, sulfuric acid or oxalic acid at a concentration of more than 50%, you can only choose a dip-coated ABS eye wash or a specially treated high-performance stainless steel eye wash. Because the eye washer made of stainless steel 304 material can resist the corrosion of acids, alkalis, salts and oils in general, but it can not resist the corrosion of chloride, fluoride, sulfuric acid or oxalic acid with concentration above 50%. In the working environment in which the above substances exist, the eyewash produced by using the stainless steel 304 material will have a great degree of damage to the eye wash in less than six months.

Second: According to the local ambient temperature to decide:

  1. Ambient temperature T: T>5°C and T<38°C: choose ordinary eye washer
  2. Ambient temperature T:T>-5°C and T<38°C:Select antifreeze eyewash-ground automatic emptying antifreeze eye washer
  3. Ambient temperature T:T>-10°C and T<38°C: Select antifreeze eyewash-embedded automatic emptying antifreeze eye washer or ADV antifreeze eye washer
  4. Ambient temperature T: T<-10°C: Select electric heat eye washer or electric heating eye wash
  5. Ambient temperature T: T>45°C: Select heat-proof eye washer
  6. Ambient temperature T: T>-10°C and T>45°C: Select antifreeze and heat-proof eye wash eye washer

Third: Decide according to whether there is water in the workplace:

  1. Fixed water source on site: fixed eye washer
  2. No fixed water source on site: portable eye wash

In the actual scene, the fixed eye washer is the most used, the following highlights the product:

  1. Hybrid eye washer : equipped with spray part and eye wash part, installed directly on the ground of the work site
  2. Vertical eye wash : only the eye wash part, no spray part, directly installed on the ground of the work site
  3. Wall-mounted eye wash : only the eye wash part, no spray part, directly installed on the wall of the work site
  4. Laboratory desktop eye wash : only the eye wash part, no spray part, directly installed in the laboratory
  5. Sprinklers, sprinklers : only the spray part, no eye wash part, directly installed on the ground, wall or ceiling of the work site
  6. Emergency eye wash station : equipment for providing warm water source for eye wash

  12. Heat-proof eye wash : adopts advanced temperature sensing technology to prevent the water source inside the eye wash from being too hot and affecting the use of eye wash
  13. Anti-freeze and heat-proof eye washer : adopt advanced temperature sensing technology to prevent the water source inside the eye washer from freezing, and prevent the water source inside the eye wash from being too hot, which may affect the use of the eye wash device.

Remarks: Eyewash can be equipped with sound and light alarm, explosion-proof lighting , timed drainage, wastewater collection water, water curtain, etc.
