Emergency Shower Device and Eye Wash Station: 304 Stainless Steel Composite Eye Wash Station
The emergency shower device and eye wash station are suitable for emergency rescue in accidents, quickly washing off harmful substances attached to the human body. By using a large amount of water for rapid spraying and washing, emergency treatment can be achieved, thereby reducing the extent of injuries. It is also an economical and feasible decontamination method. Before using this product, users should read the instruction manual.
I. Technical Parameters
- The flow rate of the shower device is 120-180 liters/minute.
- The flow rate of the eye wash station is adjustable to 12-16 liters/minute.
II. Operating Environment
- It is suitable for places where hazardous substances may splash, such as chemicals, dangerous goods, dangerous liquids, solids, and others.
- It is suitable for polluted environments.
- It is suitable for places where combustion may occur.
- In cold areas, please pay attention to frost protection of the pipeline.
III. Installation Conditions
- The effective rescue radius is within 10 or 15 meters, with at least three working positions in different directions, with clearly visible signs. There should be no obstacles nearby to facilitate rapid use.
- It should be installed near hazardous areas.
- Within a radius of 1.5 meters of the composite eye wash station, there should be no electrical switches to avoid electrical short circuits.
- The water source of the eye wash station should be clean tap water or water filtered with appropriate filter material.
- The pipe diameter and connection should follow product specifications, and the inlet and outlet sizes are 5/4 inches to ensure the correct operation of the equipment.
IV. Installation Requirements:
- The installation should refer to the schematic diagram of the installation (see attached figure), and the joint of the pipe fittings should be wound with a sealing tape (polytetrafluoroethylene raw material tape).
- For eye wash stations with pedals, when installing the pedal, the height of the front edge of the pedal from the ground should not exceed 90 millimeters.
V. Instructions for Use
- To rinse the eyes, just lightly push the hand-push valve (or step on the pedal), and clean water will automatically spray out from the eye wash nozzle. After use, reset the hand-push valve and the dust cover.
- To rinse other parts of the body: pull down the valve pull rod with your hand, and water will automatically spray out from the shower head. After use, reset the pull rod upwards.
- This product is used for emergencies to temporarily reduce the harm of harmful substances to the body. Further treatment should follow the guidance of a doctor.
VI. Maintenance and Care:
- Adequate knowledge training and trial operation training should be conducted for users before use.
- The equipment should be checked regularly (recommended once a week). If any blockage is found, the cause should be identified and dealt with in a timely manner.
