The tap is coated with a plastic paint (Rilsan) for enhanced durability and aesthetic appeal. De standard color is white, although a light grey option is also available.
The faucet features a 3-turn non-rising spindle mechanism with a rubber seat headwork, providing smooth operation and a tight seal.
The faucet is designed to be fitted using a 1/2″ BSP x 60mm flat-ended brass shank, accompanied by a backnut. There is also an integral anti-rotation pin set at 17mm centres to prevent unwanted movement.
The handwheels are color-coded according to the DIN EN 13792 standards to denote different types of water. A lever-action model is also available if preferred.
According to WRAS regulations, all taps should be connected to a tank supply within the laboratory to ensure safe and compliant operation.
